Pass it On

I need to apologize, I didn't get my pinterest project up in time. I left my camera at my lovely mother in law's house and totally forgot about the project until the last second. I will try and get it up here by next week.

In other news my friend, Jessica and I went to the "Pass It On Sale" yesterday. I came home with a bunch of great loot! I spent about 85 bucks and came away with a super cute swim suit for our little girl, four cloth diapers and 14 inserts. I also bought two pillows, one is a boppy breastfeeding pillow (I already had the cover) and one is a giant pregnancy pillow. Also I found some clothes for me.

For anyone who has never been to a "Pass It On Sale" it's great. It's kind of like a huge yard sale for kids stuff, ages birth to 16 month ish. Moms from around the area bring in their gently used items and sell them at a huge discount. The sale is still on until this Sunday, if you miss it there is another similar sale called "Just Between Friends" sale in Portland this April.

I love this suit, I think the hearts are adorable. Unfortunately our little girl wont fit it for awhile, but I can't wait to take her swimming in it .

I tried to pick some gender neutral colors for the cloth diapers because we hope to reuse them for our future  little ones.  The pink one is Bumgenius, the others are a brand I have never heard of. I have high hopes for them.

These are the tags on the red, green, and yellow diapers. They are made by Baby City and Baby Land. From what I have read about them, they are made by the same manufacturer under different names, and everyone seems to like them.
I got this Boppy pillow for FIVE bucks. I'm so excited to try it out, and I love the little bees. I have this cover and I really like it.

Anyway, I had a great time and I will totally be going back in the years to come. Also the pregnancy pillow I bought is awesome. It was 13 dollars and is made by LeachCo. Online it said that you shouldn't wash them, but I did not want to sleep on someone else's unwashed pillow (call me crazy). So I gave it a go. I used cold water, detergent, color safe bleach, and the "hand washables" setting. Then I dried it on the "delicate" setting. It came out great. There are no stains or anything! AND it smells great now. I used it last night and it might just be my new best pillow friend.

Anyone else find some great deals recently ?
